Beyond Our Image is grounded in the belief that how people are seen matters and that belief extends beyond personal brand and headshot photography.
I am proud to be the producer and project lead of Beyond the Label, a powerful video series Beyond the Label, a TELUS STORYHIVE supported video series currently available on Optik TV and the STORYHIVE YouTube channel. The series features eight Calgarians sharing what it’s like to live under societal labels from the struggles, the breakthroughs, and the moments of allyship that helped them keep moving forward.
Through honest, heartfelt conversations, these stories reflect the same approach that guides every photography session: showing up with curiosity, care, and respect for the person in front of the camera.
This work isn’t about having the perfect words.
It’s about presence. Listening. And choosing connection.
